No image name in the task manager process list

I regularly use task manager to stop errant processes that are misbehaving.
Trouble is, in process tab, task manager has suddenly decided not to tell me
what the process names are!

When I select view, select columns, I can select just about any parameter,
except image name, which is already checked, but grayed out......as if it
were a default that cannot be changed (now, that sounds sensible! :) )

I tried deselecting every box, and sure enough, on the processes tab,
nothing is listed...empty page. I tried selecting every box - that's works
OK, but still no Image Name.

I've never heard of anyone having this problem..can anyone offer any advice
om how to restore task manager to it's former glory?

Hi chris76,

Perhaps the Image Name column was resized to 0. Press Ctrl and the + sign on
the numeric keypad, as this autosizes the columns.

Thank You - you're a star. That worked, and brought back the image names. I'd
never have thought of that - I'm amazed that there isn't a minimum width for
each selected column.

Thanks again,

Chris
