no hibernation

Hi i have a problem that im unsure about ... i want hibernation but
there is nothing for me to turn it on or off i have looked but i cant
find ..... i got hold of winxp sp2 (now my system is stable)
thinking i might find sommat there but no please help

Open Control Panel, open Display, go to the Screen Saver tab, click the
Power button under Monitor Power on this tab, there should be Hibernation
tab if the hardware on your system supports it. NOTE: it might show up but
appear grayed out, again, that is a sign that either the hardware or the
drivers for the hardware, usually graphics card or soundcard don't support
this function.
