No emulation of CD

Why my XP Pro doesnt install automatically.Its New.I took out win 98 and DOS now says no emulation.Any advice appreciated!!

What are you saying?
1) Are you trying to say that your CDs no longer automatically play when
inserted intop the drive(s)?
2) Are you also trying to say that Windows XP no longer supports some of the
games you used to play in Windows 98?
