on xp, some install program from cd terminated somewhat abnormaly, and i
ejected disc from cd drive.
now, there is a message:
"there is no disc in drive d:"
[the message is absolutely correct]
but, it offers me:
cancel/tryagain/continue
the silly thing is:
what does "cancel" mean?
pressing "cancel" loops the message again!
the only way to resume normal operation was to restart!
i understand old os like dos3.x or win3.x became broken on unexpected
removal of removable media [f.e. floppy disc], but expect that latest win os
be more smart and undestand i want to cancel cd operation?
otherwise, if cancelation is not possible, what is the meaning of "cancel"
button presence [in mentioned circumstance]?
