No Disc error message on startup

Andy Phillips

I am getting a message every time I start up my pc under
the heading 65c:qttask.exe-No Disk
The message then goes on to say There is no disk in the
drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1
\DR3
It then gives me the option to cancel, retry or continue.
Whichever button I click on it will come back again but
after the second click it goes away and my computer
functions normally. I am on XP Home and current with all
my upgrades. Can anyone tell me what it means and how to
get rid of it?

Thanks,

Andy

The qttask.exe is coming from Quicktime. Open Quicktime and go to its
Preferences. Uncheck the options to show it in the system tray and
automatic update.
