message at startup

Hello.
When i start up i get a message box as follows:

e4:qttask.exe
can not find disc:
DRIVE\DEVICE\Harddisk1/DR3

I press cancel and it repeats with a further message that
is identical apart from it ends DR4

this happens again with DR5 then DR6 then DR7.

It then dissapears and everything is as normal, thought
it might be something to do with quicktime and i have
deleted this from my system but makes no diffrence.

Yes, this does have to do with Quicktime's updater. If you properly
uninstalled Quicktime, then this is coming from an entry in Startup. Go
to Start>Run and type "msconfig" without the quotes. Look for qttask in
the Startup tab and uncheck it.

Have any removable media drives? Try leaving the media in the drive when
starting up.
