Error Message on startup

I am using the XP home OS and start up I am recieving an
error message which reads:

688: qttask.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into
drive \device\harddisk1\dr3

This message will stay up until I have cliked cancel a
number of times, then go away.

Does anyone here know what it means.

Hi

'qttask.exe' is part of Quicktime. Have a look in msconfig>startup - if it is listed there, uncheck it and see if that helps.

Also, you can disable Quicktime's automatic updating and the taskbar
settings in its preferences.
