no desktop...

so i was add/removing a google toolbar and it said to restart...so i did when
i logged back in there was no desktop....like no icons or blue bar at the
bottom ot start button...the only way i fond to open things is to
ctrl+alt+del the open task manager go into file and hit new task......is
there a way to get my desktop back...i still have my wallpaper -_- but thats
not really what im looking for....ive tried to restart in safe mode and last
known good config....but both failed me....

please help me

Uninstall google toolbar and do a system restore .
