No Colors in Outlook Express 6

I am unable to change the color in which I write or receive messages. Neither can I change font sizes.

As soon as I start typing my message, the system reverts to black and to the default font size of 12 point (Arial).

Please help.

It sounds like you have plain text enabled. Check your settings in Tools>
Options.
