No Audio / sound on captured AVI file

Hi. im using xp with MM2 and a Samsung VP-D70 connected by firewire
I try and capture the DV at best quality. Picture seems fine but..
There is no sound on the AVI file at all

Any ideas as to what i can do please

Some avi need special codec
'gspot' will tell you what codec it need
mine needed to have 'ac3 filter' installed to get soun
use google to find these 2 items ..................good luck

You could start by asking in an appropriate newsgroup. What has Word to do
