No Audio/Radeon 7500/ Sony Camcorder

Still do not have audio when capturing video into movie
maker. Is there a converter that has a female RCA jack
and a male AV/IN jack? The set up I have right now with
the ATI extension going into the AV In socket of my sound
card only pick up the video. I think I need to run the
audio directly into my sound card but the audio is coming
off RCA jacks which do not plug into the sound card
directly without an adaptor.

You are right that it needs to go in via the sound card and any good
electronics store should sell the neccassary adaptor.
