No Audio/Radeon 7500/ Sony Camcorder

Doug Fillenwarth

I am using a Radeon 7500 video card. I have an extension
cable that came with the card the one end plugs into the
input on the card. The other end has an S-Video and 3
RCA jacks for video and audio. My camcorder has a cable
with a jack that plugs into the unit itself that looks
like a headphone jack. The other end has two RCA jacks.
One is yellow for the video and the other is for the
audio. I plug these into the extension and only get
video. I have the audio set on "What U here is" and made
sure that in the entertainment section under optiosn that
this was checked. Do I need to take the audio direct
into the video card or am I missing something?
Thanks

Hello There,

Its normal for the audio to be sent to the LINE-IN socket of your audio
card. Depending on whether the output from your camera is mono or stereo
you might want to invest in a converter plug/socket so that the sound is
definitely sent to both channels of your stereo audio card.
