No audio from VCR to PC

I'm trying to convert a VHS tape to an avi using Movie Maker 2 and for some reason I am only getting video and no audio. Is there a special setting I need to have for VHS? Thanks for your time.
 
Ensure the Line-In on the audio panel is not set to Mute.

and make sure you have an audio lead connected to the pc
