no admin password problem

k what the (bad word) is goign on with my computer :S

I just set up my box with XP pro SP1 and I went to install my drivers
it all went fine till I had to restart I restarted then came back to my
desktop and it was liek the drivers didnt even install but it showed in
my add/remove programs that tehy were but then I went to my Device
Manager and a box popped up saying I didn't have rights to do that and
to contact my admin or login as admin but when I setup the computer
there is usually a box to type ur admin password but there wasn't so I
have no admin password so im stuck with insufficient rights and I have
to install my drivers...help

You always have to create an administrator password when you install Windows
XP Pro. If you do not remember it then it probably is blank as in no
password. If all else fails see the link below on how to proceed. ---

hi,

First of all try to run the 'system restore' feature in windows xp. Restore
the system back to before those drivers where installed. Then might be a
good idea to create a new 'Adminsitrator Account' just incase (you can always
remove it later).

Search the net and download the absolute latest drivers, your current
drivers may not be compatible with XP.

Also might be good to mention the type of drivers you used, video, sound,
LAN etc....and version numbers always helps when dealing with these issues.
