G'day to you all,
I have just joined as I have a problem with Outlook Express, and was
hoping that somebody may come to my rescue.
I have 2 e-mail accounts, Yahoo and my ISP, however I now find that I
can't send mail thru Yahoo, it appears that @yahoo.com.au has
reconfigured to @yahoo.com. I have tried Tools > Options, but now when
I go to Tools > Options, what I get is General, Read, Receipts, Send
etc, there is no Accounts, hense I can't edit/change yahoo.
Also I find that when opening Outlook Express it doesn't automaticly
look for new mail, I now have to go to File > Switch Identity... and
the options are ISP, Yahoo & Main Identity, when I select Main I
receive mail (both my ISP & Yahoo).
I am running XP Pro, Nortons Internet Security 2006, Windows Defender
Beta 2, a wireless network, my Modem/Router is a NetComm NB5Plus4W.
I have downloaded various Virus/Adware etc programs but have removed
them via Control Panel Add/Remove. I have reinstalled O/S and have run
Widows Safety Centre but all to no avail.
I need Help! The following error messages appear.

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's
e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was
'(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'Re: XYZ', Account:
'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP,
Server Response: '530 authentication required - for help go to

gazza.

No 'Accounts' listed just above the 'Options' choice, 'Tools > Accounts'? If
not, are you using Outlook Express 6, Outlook or another version of OE?
