I am trying to set up and send messages from Windows Mail, unfortunately this
is the message I received while trying:

Try this:
Make sure you have send authentication enabled.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
Enable the "My server requires authentication" option.

If no improvement, let us know which country your Yahoo account is
based in, and whether it is a free or paid account.
