When I open Outlook I receive an Error Message: "Error in configuration file
nmexchex.ecf" continues with a following error message: blah blah
blah..."Error with the syntax or format of the file..."

I have looked at the Add-Ins, found NetFolders, unchecked the box, same
error. repaired office install, installed all updates of the Office Update
site, need help.

Hi John,
NMEXCHEX.ECF is one component of Microsoft Office 2000.
NMEXCHEX.ECF is usually found in C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\Addins\.
maybe if you delete it there the problem would be solve
