NIS 2006 release date?

B

Brian Wescombe

My current sub expires opn 23rd September which means i've got to renew at a
cost of £25.00 or upgrade. I could get NIS 2005 AntiSpyware edition for
around the same price, but how soon after this date can we expect the 2006
version to be released?

I don't want to upgrade twice in a short time

Thanks in advance

Invest £27.03 in the NOD32 AV solution, and then utilise many of the
free programs available that will do everything else Norton purports to
do.

Ad-Aware, Spybot, WinPatrol, Zone Alarm, SpywareBlaster are just a few
freebies that spring to mind that will do what you need them to, plus
something like CleanUp 4 by Steve Gould to keep the 'crap' down to a
minimum.

You will then have the added bonus of not having 'bloatware' installed
on your system, and if the 2005 versions of NAV/NIS are anything to go
by, looking 'forward' to a 2006 version is not something you want to
spend much time doing.

www.nod32.com FYI - a Google on all the others will find what you need.
