Set device manager to show additional info that you can use to track required inf file.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;304514

Or you can:
1. remove that node from device manager.
2. delete windows\setupapi.log
3. reboot.
4. analyze or/and send new setupapi.log for errors.

Anyhow your first driver act as a BUS driver and exposed PDO so second driver can install on top of it. And you need to find inf
file used by second driver.
You can see from XP Pro what this driver is by comparing what you see from Device Manager on XPe, XPP

Thanks to everyone who helped out on this thread.
It seems like my main problem was the fact that my CF disk was
being treated as removeable in XPe. This produced a strange querk
with the NI Device driver installation process (i.e. it requested the
insertion of "Disk 1" - which it was already using).
I obtained some SanDisk utilities to convert my SanDisk CF to appear
as a fixed (local) disk under XPe. Following this the NI Device Drivers
could be installed correctly from the CD. Also, because I chose to install
the full
NI Driver suite I had to use a larger CF - we selected 4GB which in itself
threw
a few suprises (see my other thread on the 4GB CF problems).

Once again thanks for all of your help,

Best Regards,

Bernie
