I see lots of people coming here wondering why vista is acting illogical
strange and darn right stupid... so here is the newsflash for them:

VISTA IS TOTAL CRAP!

a defective product that has thousands of problems!

Do don't wonder WHY vista is stupid.. just try to fix it or better yet
format and install XP that is far better..

or Linux or something.. Linux has its crap but at least you don't pay for
that crap.. LOL

Vista is as user friendly as Linux that's why I call it VISTUX short for
Vista-Linux or Vista Sux

Actually, Ubuntu Linux is far more user friendly than Vista will ever be.

No matter what the OS, there are issues that come up and for a very wide
variety of reasons.

E.g. over one the Apple group:

"Sound problem: mono only"
On my Powerbook G4 running OSX 10.4, audio programs such as Peak and Sound
Studio are only able to create mono files. Selecting "new" always generates
a mono file, I have not been able to make them create a new stereo file.
This is not only true for the built in audio interfaces, but also for the
Grifin iMic which is a USB device....

PLEASE HELP! My eMac is driving me crazy!!!
I'm at my wits end. My eMac computer keeps hanging. Running 10.3. First
the cursor will move but it won't move anything on the screen, and then it
freezes to the screen. Often times an icon, or the dock, or a window will
get all the pixels all smeared looking or jumbled. A menu will drop down and
freeze midway. I've run tech tool pro, and the... more »

Stole it from Apple and Xerox.

Priceless quotes in m.p.w.vista.general group:

"Fair use is not merely a nice concept--it is a federal law based on
free speech rights under the First Amendment and is a cornerstone of the
creativity and innovation that is a hallmark of this country. Consumer
rights in the digital age are not frivolous."

apple stole it from Xerox too... but the graphical interface was a logical
evolution of computers.. it would happen for sure....

it was only a matter of time.

Vista however is an unlucky dark occurrence in history
and it could be avoided if microsoft had the correct people in charge.

In South America, Xerox and Apple were a joint operation called Team
Apple-Xerox. In 84, if you wanted to buy the first or second Mac, you
had to buy it from them.

How do you explain that?

Compared to all the previous operating systems I think Vista earns my
respect. It is good.

While I have not heard the song, I will admit that most every OS sucks
and Vista definitely has its share of problems. But I also remember
being a consultant BETA Testing Windows 95, I was in shock of the POS
that Microsoft was putting out to the public. As a matter of fact the
night of the National Release Party (my boss was in Redmond at the time)
the other techs I worked with sat around and got drunk that night
because we had to go out the next day and install Windows 95 even though
we knew it to be crap. Then we find out it shipped with 3008 known bugs
and it was like a huge lightbulb went off, "No wonder it didn't work
worth a damn". Microsoft has released a progressive string of faulty
OS's since then with Vista just being the latest in a long line of
problems.

The source code (a lot of it anyway) was actually published for
"Intuition" the Amiga GUI, always had my suspicions about that :)
