News Groups

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium. I only want to use Windows Mail for
the news groups. I use another non-microsoft program for my email, and it
does not have the news group option. I have only been able to get news groups
in Windows Mail that are related to Microsoft programs. I do a lot of
photography and would like to also participate in the Photoshop, PSP and
other such programs news groups. Is there a way that I can get news groups
other than just those related to Microsoft?

Yes.
Just add an account for a news server that carry those groups.
There are a few free news servers, or your ISP may have one.
And there are ones you pay for, like Giganews.com

Go here http://www.motzarella.org/ it is a free news server, but you have to
register, and they send you the set up instructions by email so use a real
address to register, then use a munged address in the account setup process.

They carry at least 20 Photoshop newsgroups, on first glance at the list.
