You can get more, but first you have to add another newsgroup account
to get them from.

This set of instructions should help you do that, if you can spot where they
refer to News Server Names.

They probably don't offer all the newsgroups, but still a good selection
to choose from.

and click on "Create Newsgroup account"

To get other newsgroups, add another news server.
It looks like Cox has one...
