NEWS Command Missing from View Goto Menu

Outlook XP (2002)

The NEWS command is missing from the View-->Goto menu. Also when I look in
the View-->Toolbars_Customize dialog under the View section the NEWS command
is not listed and cannot be assigned to a menu.

The command was there at one time but now seems to have run away from home.

Any clues on how to get it back?

Maybe you don't have a default newsreader chosen in Internet Options.
