Newdotnet.dll ---> PLEASE HELP

I resently deleted newdotnet.dll-file from my computer because my antivirus-program found a virus in that file. Now I can't access the internet. Can someone help me?

I use AVG free edition. My computer informs that the connection is deficient. When I try to access the internet, it opens the Internet window, but can't locate the starting page. If I use Mozilla Firefox, then I get the message "Can't find start.mozilla.com". I haven't tried to run spyware yet.

System restore.......... Have you tried that?? its like an undo button, you know
If you are running windows XP, go to your system tools and restore to an earlier date. Go back to a selected bold date at at which you believe the pc was functioning correctly. If it works great =)

I ran Adaware and it didn't help. I'm sorry but I'm a real idiot with computers, so how do you excatly do the system restore? I use the Finnish version of XP so I'm really not sure where the system tools are. So could you guide me through step by step? Thanks

hi i have seen your problem in google, mane, and my cousin has the same problem but she cannot restore her computer, did you find a solution, or am i wasting my time, if anybody else is out there, the problem is as follows, avast fround a trojan in newdotnet.dll, she deleted the program altogether and now cannot access the internet and getting firewall not enabled messages, can you help please, is it possible for me to download the newdotnet.dll file to a disk and maybe she can download it to her computer? or are there other solutions, thank yoooouuuuuuu
