New windows update

Hello. I went to microsoft site and downloaded the new update(malicious tool
removal) and had major problems. I have a cable connection yet I could not
get access to internet. I used system restore..now its telling me to get
update. any advice?

My guess is The tool removed malware seemingly breaking something (that was
already broke).
Did you check the log:
C:WINDOWS\Debug\mrt.log
You may be able to identify the actual cause.

Hello...Myself and quite a few friends of mine are having the same issue with
the update..my internet went caput after the update....So I did a restore and
turned off automatic updates..that stopped my computer from doing the
update..but I haven't been able to find anything to fix this issues.

I would turn off your automatic updates til Microsoft figures out what's
going on.
