new user of xp

i hope someone can help me, i purchashed a new pc and it has xp. now when i turn my pc on my msn hotmail account and email open up automattically when conected to the internet so whoever turns on the pc can now access my hotmail account. i have gone into my messenger box and taken off the automatic open when online but that hasnt helped so i am assuming it has something to do with xp. i am hoping someone can help me so that it wont open automattically when internet is connected. thank u and hope to hear from someone soon.

The big advantage of XP is that you can create several User accounts, each with unique settings

Thus your email acccount and internet access account can be made private

Assuming your username is say 'icemaiden' you can create another user on your PC 'visitor' and do not include a password [if prompted, then leave the entry as a blank]

At the same time add a password to your account, which prevents unauthorised access to your documents, email etc
