I saw no search engine, and if I have to turn off my proxies or turn
on Java in order to get access to it, then forget it.

Unless I'm missing something, in order to determine whether or not a
program was freeware or shareware, I had to look at each individual
program. There are simply too many other sites out there that either
are pure freeware listings, or filter, notate or otherwise indicate
which programs are freeware, for me to waste my time looking through
this site.

Where's the freeware? If it's there how much shareware do I have to wade
through?

where do you get your keywords from? I typed in "freeware" in
search form (which is not available on start page) and found
things like "4t Explorer Sweeper" with "Price: $ 19.95", but
keywords like "free" and "freeware". Stupid! There seems to be
no way to find freeware the easy way, so this archive is more
than useless...

Thorsten

This site sucks! You have to go to each listing to see if its free and
nothing is!
