Just as I was about to send this email, I discovered that SpeedyFinder
shares data and appearance with:
ImagesPro.com
NewFreeware.com
FreewareSeek.com
Shareware21.com

Home page and category search (but not subcategory) allows selecting on
license type in combination with other criteria. License types are: all,
freeware, open source, shareware, demo, free alpha, free beta, adware. One
shortcoming: no way to include both freeware and open source.

SpeedyFinder organizes products into 10 categories, each of which has
approximate 10 subcategories.

Each category page includes a composite "Title" column with title,
description, license, and platform. The date, size, download count, rating,
and summary

Each product page includes description, requirements, download link, home
page link, screenshot, statistics, languages, and "Quick facts": publisher,
version,
platforms, size, release date, license, cost, and expiration. The product
page also solicits a user rating ("vote" 1-10) and review comment. Prior
comments fill the remainder of the page.

I guess I'm slower than usual tonight. As far as I know, my statement is
factual. I thought I'd found a new site, prepared a note, went back to
check something, and then discovered the sites content and appearance are
the same as several others. I'd extensively described the site because it
does a good job of presenting complete information. When I find a new site,
I don't usually check their submission procedures first thing (or middle or
last). I haven't visited NewFreeware in quite some time, so I didn't
recognize the format.

To what do you object? How should I have phrased the fact that these sites
are not different? Are you trying to say I should have discovered the
overlap sooner?

Perhaps if you reply with more than three or four words and a quote, I'll
understand what you are trying to say. (I used five words last time.
You've used three and four. Does that mean six words and a quote this time?
Hmm, maybe "You said it, not me, Bill." Followed by a snip of my first
sentence?)

makes sense?).... no ill will or anything was meant.
