New PC start error

Dear friends,

I just bought a new PC with the following equipment:
-Intel C2Duo E8400 cpu
-Gigabyte P35C-DS3R mainboard
-4 GB OCZ (2*2) 800 MHz DDR2 RAM
-PC Power OCZ 610W psu
-Seagate 500GB hdd
-Thermaltake aguila case
-Windows XP Pro

When I brought the PC to home and started it, everything was normal until
the classic "windows xp" black scree. The machine restarted at that screen
without any notice on screen. Then it started normally and everything was OK.
However, when I shut the PC down and started again later, same things
happened but this time it restarted for 2 times before entering windows
normally. It's been 2 weeks now and I could not find a solution. PC always
restarts during the "windows xp" screen, offers choices of "start normally,
start in safe mode..." etc. and I always insist on "start normally" option.
After 1 to 5 restarts, it somehow enters windows.

I changed the slots of the RAMs, formatted hd and reinstalled windows, but
couldn't solve the issue. I also updated the BIOS and device drivers.

What may be the problem?
Best regards,

Open the computer and make note of the serial numbers of the major components,
hard drive, motherboard, and RAM in particular. There are free utilities
available on the internet that will find this information for you. Here's one
that will do the job.

EVEREST Free Edition 2.20
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

Take the computer and your sales slip back to the place you bought this machine.
If you ordered it online, follow the appropriate procedure to initiate a return.
Mention the problems you've been having and tell them you want a replacement for
the defective system. You don't want it fixed, you want another one. If they
offer to fix it, get a refund and take your business elsewhere.

If you get talked into letting them fix it, ask them what they did to repair the
computer. If you're told that they replaced any components, compare the serial
numbers you recorded earlier to the current ones. If the serial numbers match
the old ones, you're dealing with a company that doesn't deserve your business.
Return the computer and shop elsewhere.

Good luck
