New page-link bar not added

After creating a new page from the folder view based on existing page, I did
have all the shared borders and link bars, but after placing text on the page
and saving it, I then added it to new navigation view. When I re-opened the
new page, the navigation bars have dissappeared and it says that I have to
add this page to navigation view. ? If I try to add it again in navigation,
it tells me the page is already there. If I remove it from nav. view and add
it again, nothing changes. I did try recaculate hyperlinks. Any other
suggestions?

Did you name the page something different from the one you created it from?

Yes.
I just re-did the whole page and was working fine, I even previewed it.
When I changed one of the heading styles though, I lost the link bar again. !
