Link Bar on Index.html page missing

Our FrontPage 2003 Index.html page
no longer has a "Navigation/Link Bar."

While in FP "Design View" where we used to see a
Link Bar we now see the following message:
"Add this page to the navigation view to display the hyperlinks here."
When visitors view our Index.html page the Link Bar is missing.
http://www.montanapictures.net/

The website has over 780 web pages of Montana town tours.
All but four of the web pages still have a visible Link Bar
that we can see in FP "Design View" and when we do a "Preview in Browser."
When visitors view our "working" web pages, all they see is a Link Bar with
no text.
http://www.montanapictures.net/glacier_national_park_tour_map.htm

FrontPage Server extensions were re-installed on the host server.

We would love to get the website Link Bar working
so we can focus on shooting pictures.

Thank you in advance.

Check your navigation View
The home page there must be index.html
In Folder List right click index.html and Select Set as Home page

Wow! Thank you for the prompt reply.

We did a right click index.html in the "folders View" and Selected
"Set as Home Page." - No Luck

When we "Publish" the website, visitors can't see a Link Bar.

Is your server case sensitive and you have 2 files: index.html vs. Index.html
Check View Navigation and see which page is the home page and what is under it
- if correct, change anything in Nav View (say a page name) the close all pages & run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks before you
publish

We can't thank you enough for you prompt & excellent help.

You were right - It was a conflict in the letter case of the "index.html"
page.
For the past three years our FP "Navigation View" contained an
"Index.html" page in contrast, the Remote Web site contained an "index.html"
page.
It was never a problem until we recently started changing the Banner Image
every week.
