Does bios see it?
Is it connected correctly?
Does Disk Management see it?, if so format there

Let me further explain. Bios does not see it. I cannot access it any whitch way. I took it over to my brother, he runs 2K, he had no problem. We formated it w/ fs:fat32. I think his older asus and bios formated with wrong peramiters. I run XP pro.
My question is, what can I do to overcome this problem?

If the bios cannot see it, presumably you are using autodetect.
Try visiting HD manu and getting actual parameters of drive, then try to set
it up manually in the bios.
If that doesnt work then I dont believe there is anything you can do.

If installed to the origonal sys, canit be detected?
If so use the HD manu checking utility, downloaded from their site, to check
it.
If all OK then format the disk in Disk Management, not from any command
line.
