I have been looking around for a bigger monitor than what i have. (Samsung 22' 225BW)
I don't plan on acutally buying one - just browsing until i do acutally feel like buying.

Has anyone had any experience with 25.5' size monitors? I found one thats seems reasonably priced

Asus 25.5

26' would be nice - but they are a little too expensive. Is it worthwhile to upgrade to a 24' when i already have a 22'? Or am i better off just sticking to what i got?

Might as well stick with what you have as it is a good monitor.

when new that monitor was $475 - i was pushing my budget back then too.
I'm thinking i can sell the one i got and purchase a bigger one for a minor hit to the pocket book.

25.5" is quite a size, and that's much cheaper than it would have been even 2 years ago. The specs look very good, and it has plenty of positive reviews.

I've only used up to 22" monitors, and I've found that to be a good size :thumb:

Very jealous :D ;)

I suppose that .5' wont really be a big difference, especially when the monitor is already that big. I wish i could have a look at it before i think of buying.

I have two monitors, both Samsung, 22" & 24".

The 22" has better specs and has a much better quality picture.

I actually prefer using the 22" monitor because of this.

So, in short, what I'm trying to say is size isn't everything, pic quality is so much more important.

And quality monitors 24" and over cost a lot of money.

Looks the biz, over here that would be around $700. It looks as though it uses a similar stand arrangement to my Dell. No dedicated DVI socket though.

Umm, that's New Mexico.

Big difference to Mexico ;)

I knew that cos Alfs prices were in $ rather than pesos. Guess I should have said " you folks over the pond must have a rather different definition of sucker to us".
