Folks..
I've been migrating a clients environment from a NT4
scenerio with a mix of XPHome and W98 machines to a W2000
Server and W2000 Pro client machines.
On some of the machines - I am experiencing a problem
after doing a complete fresh install of W2KPro that the
machine can only login as administrator. If I try to login
as the user - I get a message (sorry I don't have the
exact message) that the number of users for the domain
have been reached.
The W2K Server has more than adequate client licenses
installed, and I made sure I entered both the client
computer name and the user name into Active Directory and
had them in the basic "users" group.
Any ideas? I've got to visit the customer again today and
it would be nice if I had a clue as to what the solution
is.
Thanks!
