how do i install windows from dos mode?
i only have an a prompt. I have windows xp software but no boot up disk.
 
Hi

The XP CD is bootable, but you may have to change the boot sequence via the
BIOS, so that the first bootable device is the CD drive. You 'can' install
from DOS using the winnt.exe file in the i386 folder on the XP CD. If you
do that, make sure that you load Smartdrive first, otherwise the
installation will take ages.
