new install vista bus. BCM is stopping the opening of outlook

I installed vista business now my outlook from office 2003 won't open. The
error is in opening of Business contact manager. It cannot open this program
which doesn't let outlook open at all. Any suggestions?

Did you try installing Business Contact Manager SP4 on your vista machine?
This patch is basically to make BCM 2003 work on Vista.

If you are running BCM 2003 on Vista, you will need SP4 patch for BCM. There

I tried re-installing the BCM software and a screen came up notifyin g me of
issues w/BCM and vista and suggested the patch. I found the SP4 patch just
before the completion of the install it brought up an error message it could
not complete the install.

I have a few questions here
1)Did you do a clean Vista Install or an Upgrade?
2)what error message do you see when you open outlook?
3)Could you provide us with setup logs?You could find them at
C:\Users\"USERNAME"\AppData\Local\Temp
and file names would be MBSsetup*

I did an upgrade provided by Dell
-- do you want me to copy the whole temp file or is there a way to attach
the file

Also having the same problem, but my error logs say the problem is with the
mapisvc.inf file and that I don't have sufficient permissions to access it.
