I having difficulty loading XP Pro onto a brand new
formatted 250 GB Western Digital. I have loaded XP
before onto other new systems but not above 120. I saw a
message or article regarding the size of the partition
before SP1. Would this be the issue? Should I try a
smaller partition to install and then enlarge?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

Meant to suggest if you don't want to have more than one partition, you can
create a slipstream CD if you have a burner and the software necessary to
make one.
see the link below for info on how to make a slipstream XP CD with SP1.
