I am upgrading my machine with a new hard drive and I
know that I will have a problem reinstalling XP and
wanted to put it on my old computer and do not see why I
would need to buy a new one for two computers that are
mine in the same house. I was going to send an email to
support but do not think you should have to pay.

A copy of Windows XP is licensed for use on one computer at a time. This is
clearly described in the End User License Agreement.

You do not seem to be able to compose a sentence in English. Thus to suggest
that you attempt to read your End User Licence Agreement might also result in
ignorance being perpetuated.

Sadly in life, some things you use need payment each time. Think of making
long distance phone calls: in your mind, if the first one is paid for so
then every other one should be free.
