new computer...old email files??

Hello. I recently installed a new computer, going from Windows Xp to Vista.
I was told my old email files would be sent, however I have been waiting for
a few weeks. How can I transfer the files myself? I really need some of
the files. Thanks for the help, Angela

Whar email program were you using on XP? Transfer methods vary widely
depending on which program you were using. For that matter, which email
program will you be using on Vista? It comes with Windows Mail, but a
number of different email programs and be installed and used under Vista.
