Hi all,
I have recently put together a build here is the spec:
Mid tower
PSU: Enermax 350w
Mobo: MSI K7N2-L
CPU: Athlon XP2400+
Memory: 2 x 256 MB DDR Generic
Graphics: Asus V9180 Nvidia MX440se AGP x8
HD: Maxtor 80gb 7200
CD- RW: LG 52x24x52x
DVD: TEAC 16x
Floppy: Panasonic 3.5
K/B & Mouse: Logitech Optical
All black

O/S: Win 2k

I have run Si-Soft Sandra benchmark tool, am told results were good.

As a newbie I thought the whole experience was fantastic, from researching the components visiting fairs & putting the machine together. I must admit I had help from a tech head. I would reccommend this to anyone considering building there own & of course you can save cash.
I hope I am able to help others out with some of the ingo I gained as this is what it is all about. (wife thinks it all a bit sad, boyz & there toyz) Anyway guys what do you think?

Welcome to The "IBMOC" Club (I Built My Own Computer) ... well done Ziggy.

... as for the Wife, ;) I get it all the time. At my age she thinks I should be in a retirement home.

Nice 1 Ziggy! I know what you mean about that cool feeling you get when you boot up your first self-built 'chine...and everything actually works!! It's difficult to understand why anyone would ever want to actually go into a shop and buy off the shelf.:spin:
