I have just purchased a laptop with Windows XP Home and I want to transfer
information from my PC with Windows ME. My local CompUSA sold me a RJ45
crossover cable... but I need some help setting up the network.

You'll need to install your programs on the new computer using
each program's original installation media, then use the Files and
Settings Transfer Wizard to transfer your files and settings.
