i cant seem to be able to get my network to work. i have run the network
connection wizard and it still wont work, i have got an ethernet internet
broadband connection, and a printer on my own pc which runs windows xp home.
this also has a linksys 10/100 network card, and i want to link up my
daughters computer so that she can access the internet and use the printer,
her computer is operating windows 2000 pro sp2 and has the same networking
card inside.
why wont it work?
what can i do to solve this?

Hello christopher4823,

Is the broadband connection on a router/switch or direct on your pc? If your
broadband is a router then connect all 3 devices to the router use the same
ip range for them. Also upgrade the 2000 machine to sp4 AND the actual patches
if you will go to internet with the machine.

Best regards
