Where do I find information such as a tutorial or manual to setup a network
on Windows 2000 Desk top and Windows XP laptop using a router?

I have a desk top runing Windows 2000 pro and a laptop with Windows XP. How
do I go About seting up a network? I have a router conecting bouth machines
and the ISDN Internet conection. Bouth computers have Internet access now.

I want to be able to share files, printer and fax.

Yes, you should be able to share diles and printer. Since you have router, both machines should be able to access the internet. this how to setup workhroup network may help, http://howtonetworking.com/workgroupsetup.htm
Don't send e-mail or reply to me except you need consulting services. Posting on MS newsgroup will benefit all readers and you may get more help.
