i have a new laptop which has windows XP. I am trying to
network my desktop with windows 2000 with it. I have both
comouters connected throgh a wireless router.

When I try to confire the create network in my laptop in
the end it says to create a network setup disc for my
desktop, which i did but everytime I try to put that disc
in my deskto with win 2000, it says this is only for
windows xP, 95, 98 and milenum.
How can I make a disc for windows 2000.

Thanks

Don't use the network wizard. Just go into the help menu on the Win2000
computer and search for peer-to-peer networking and follow the instructions
carefully. Oh, and make sure you turn off the personal firewall on the XP
computer.
