I know there is a way to connect XP with a Windows 2000 pro network. In my home I have 3 windows 2000 pro computers, my new XP pro laptop, and one linux box. I can not find anything to help connect these computers.

All you should have to do is make sure the Workgroup name is the same. XP
and 200 should automatically configure themselves.

I have the same problem as Kilith had. what do you mean by the same workgroup? I tried to connect my Win XP desktop with Windows 2000 professional on my laptop. Network set up of Win XP was not applicable with WIN 2000 pro. I appreciate it if you or some one else help to establish connections between PCs. It does not matter, my laptop can be a lead PC or desktop (windows xp). The goal is to run them via network, internet
Please feel free to email me if you have an idea or suggestion

Thanks
