Hi,

I am trying to copy files from a PC on my home network
(Workgroup based) to my Laptop which I use at work and at
the home office. My router sees both PCs but I cannot
connect. So how can I connect a PC in a domain (my laptop)
to a PC in a workgroup (my home PC> My OS is Win2k.

Share what you like on the desktop. On the laptop:

net use x: \\desktopname\sharename /user:desktopname\desktopusername

enter the password.
