there are no logon servers available

Hi all,

i have the same problem as a lot on here.

situation:

Laptop with win2k on domain 123
Homepc with Xp home on workgroup 123

I used to be able to connect from my laptop to the local printer on my PC,
but recently my work laptop migrated to Active Directory and now i'm no
longer able to connect to my home PC.

In Explorer, I can see my Home PC but when i try to connect, I get "there
are no logon servers available..." The other way arround..from my Home PC I
can connect to my laptop without a problem.

NO problem pinging to my home pc.

I have tried connecting using "mapping a network drive, but still no
succes...it cannot find the specified computer...

Anybody got an idea?

TIA

Mike

Hi, I have the same problem and have posted a few times.
I'm running two windows 2000 Pro machines. If you find a
work around, please let me know...and I will do the same
