No Logon Servers Available error message

Dave

I was able to get my home PC to share with the laptop and
Vice/Virsus. Now today, I went to print form the laptop
to a printer connected to the home PC and I got an error.
I went to the network places, clicked on entire network,
entire contents, found the network group, and the home PC
computer, but I get the follow message: 'There are
currently no logon servers available to service the logon
request'. I have not changed anything from 2 days
ago?!?!? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

Event ID 5719 - The system cannot log you on now because the domain "name"
is not available."
Symptoms: when attempting to logon a domain, you keep getting an error that
"The system cannot log you on now because the domain "name" is not
available." Also, Event viewer shows Event ID: 5719. No Windows NT or
Windows 2000 Domain Controller is available for domain <domain name>. The
following error occurred: There are currently no logon servers available to
service the logon request.

Resolutions: One possible cause of this error is that you have run out of
buffer space in the NetBT datagram buffer. To resolve this problem, increase
the MaxDgramBuffering value from 128 KB to 256 KB. Run Regedt32.exe, go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetBT\Parameters. On
the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following information:

Value Name: MaxDgramBuffering
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0x40000

Thank you for the info. I found an error in the system
event log. Error 8003... I'm going to paste the
error: "The master browser has received a server
announcement from the computer USH1M2Z11 that believes
that it is the master browser for the domain on transport
NetBT_Tcpip_{02F1459F-535E-44A2. The master browser is
stopping or an election is being forced." The USH1M2Z11
is my laptop and I can't access the home PC from my laptop.

Any ideas? Do I need to set one as a master browser? I
have researched and I'm not sure how to (or if I need to).

Thanks Again,

Dave
