I have four machines all accessing the internet through the same cable
modem/router connection. But they aren't truly "networked", as in set up
to be capable of seeing each other and of sharing file access. Two are XP
Home machines, one is Vista Home Ultimate, and one is Windows 7 Home
Ultimate (and is the only one of the 4 that connects wirelessly). I also
have a couple of NAS boxes on the network.
Since I'm basically the only one who uses the network, I'd like to set
things up so that all 4 machines have full access to each other and to the
NAS boxes. But I haven't been able to figure out how to do it from the
various "Help and Support" programs available. Can anyone recommend some
documentation or tutorial that could help me wade through all this?
To put the cherry on the icing on the cake, there's also a fifth box,
running Ubuntu Linux, that I'd like to hook in there too...
TIA...
