Hi folks, my first post here and I'm having a bit of a problem with my
home network. Hope you can help me out ;-)
The network consists of 2 desktop PCs and a laptop. One PC is running
Vista Home, the other has XP Pro installed and the laptop is running XP
Home - SP3 is installed on both XP computers. Both the PCs are
hard-wired to a 4-port WiFi enabled router which the laptop also
connects to wirelessly.
All computers can access the Internet and the two XP machines can see
each other and be accessed via the LAN, which is set up as a "private"
network. Both XP machines have also had the LLTD patch installed.
The problem is that the Vista PC can't see the others and they can't see
it :-(
Is there something else I need to do so that all the computers will play
nicely together ... aside from ditching Vista and installing XP Pro on
that machine?
TIA
